Introducing our 20 Extra Paid Days Off Work Plan

Childbase Partnership is going above and beyond by giving colleagues in its 44-day nurseries the opportunity to have up to 50 paid days off work a year, to further improve ‘work-life’ balance and promote better workplace happiness. A first for the Early Years Sector.

The ‘Partnership Reward Days’ initiative launches in January and is based on hours worked in the previous three months, with full-timers getting up to five days extra paid leave in each quarter and pro-rata allocations for others.  This is in addition to their annual leave entitlement and Bank Holidays.  

Emma Rooney, Chief Executive at the award-winning, employee-owned Childbase Partnership – a UK ‘Best Company to Work For’ for 14 years – said the focus this year is on giving colleagues more time to invest in what they need to thrive personally and professionally.

Colleagues will also have the opportunity to sell an allocation of their extra days, if they would prefer cash rewards instead.  It’s simply our colleague’s choice.

Our Benefits

This means that our starting rate for any qualified level 3 practitioner, working 20 or more hours per week, is at least £11.50 an hour.
