£3,000 tax-free Partnership Dividend

Childbase Partnership is giving colleagues a tax-free bonus of up to £3,000 and raising salaries again by an average 8% in a financial support plan for colleagues in 44-day nurseries in England costing £8.5 million.

The plan means that full timers contributing to the company’s success during the last financial year will get six, monthly, tax-free payments of up to £500 each starting on December 1st and ending on May 1st, 2023, with pro-rata payments for others.

The support has been extended to new nursery recruits on contracted hours who will also get additional cash – up to a maximum £100 a month based on hours worked – until May 1st, 2023, to help them meet soaring cost of living bills.

Roadshow Live 2022

Over 1800 colleagues signed up to watch our annual Roadshow Live event which provides an update on the last financial year and talks about plans for the year ahead. This year colleagues were updated on upcoming salary changes, an average of 8% across the company, the Dividend Reveal and live events taking place in 2023.

The event which lasts an hour, and can be watched from home on a phone or tablet, is one of the ways we ensure our employee-owners are kept up to date from the Executive Team.


A Racing Success

Nearly 100 colleagues from 21 nurseries and our Head Office took on the Daytona two-hour endurance race in Milton Keynes. Just one of the many company-wide social events which take place within the year, teams of up to 4 raced for 2 hours hoping to be crowned champions. When the racing had finished the winners were Nene Valley with Field House in second and Head Office in third.
