Our Benefits

We provide the opportunity for all colleagues to progress their career with us, through bespoke internal and external training courses, and offer a wide range of employee benefits. Additionally, we now pay UK Real Living Wage to all of our colleagues. This means that our starting rate for any qualified level 3 practitioner is at least £10 an hour.

We pay UK Real Living Wage to all of our colleagues. This means that our starting rate for any qualified level 3 practitioner is at least £10 an hour. Salaries are reviewed annually for all colleagues. 

Partnership Dividend

As employee-owners we all share an equal tax-free partnership dividend annually when the company performs well. This is paid pro-rata so that everyone is rewarded for their contribution with up to £1500 paid this year.

Qualification Payments

We actively encourage colleagues to undertake further training. To celebrate your course completion we give you a ‘well done’ payment ranging from £200 to £700 based on the qualification level.

50% Childcare Discount

We offer all colleagues who choose to use our nurseries for their own child a 50% discount on fees. If you’re a grandparent you can receive a 25% discount for your grandchild if they use one of our nurseries.

Mental Health App

Your mental health is important and that is why we offer all of our colleagues free access to the Thrive Mental Wellbeing App.
We also have Mental Health First Aiders in all of our nurseries to help support you.

Cycle to Work

The environment is something we care about deeply. Our cycle to work scheme allows you to purchase a bike, and safety equipment, at a reduced price and pay for it in instalments across the year.

Awards Event

Our annual awards event is one of the highlights of the year. Not only do we recognise our colleagues who go above and beyond but we also have surprise guests and an amazing experience.

Outstanding Dinner


When a nursery team achieves an Ofsted Outstanding inspection we have to celebrate how amazing they are. All colleagues are invited out for a celebratory dinner and given £100 each as a thank you.

Recommend a Friend

Our unlimited recommend a friend scheme rewards colleagues with £1000 for every friend who joins us. We love that they love working for us and want their friends to be a part of the company too.

Savings Club


If you’d like us to hold back some of your salary each month, to help you save for Christmas, then you can join our savings club which pays 3% interest on all money saved and is paid back to you in November.

Buy/Sell Holiday

All colleagues start with at least 22 days holiday but have the option to buy more if required, or sell some if it isn’t needed. Obviously you do have to take holiday within the year so rules do apply.

We Plant a Tree


Not necessarily a benefit to you, but it is a benefit to our planet which should make you feel good about it. We plant a tree for every colleague who joins the company to help support the Madagascan rainforest.

Family Fun Day

Have a day out with a friend, partner or your family on us. We pay for colleagues to have tickets to one of a variety of locations each year. Venues have include zoos, theme parks and stately homes or gardens.

Employee Assistance

This service, provided by Carefirst, is a confidential, professional telephone counselling service which provides immediate emotional support, advice and practical information, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Where required employees can also access face to face counselling sessions.


We have a variety of discounts available to colleagues from Gym membership to meals out to cinema tickets. 

Salary Advance

We recognise in emergency situations that our colleagues may require an advance of their salary in order to help them financially.  Additionally, our hardship fund is available for colleagues who may need further support or find themselves in financial difficulties.

Occupational Health

This service is used to support employees within their role and their personal life. This service is provided by Lincoln Health.

Private Medical

Employees with over 3 years’ service can join for free and those with less than 3 years’ service can pay a reduced/subsidised fee to become a member. This plan includes dental and optical cover (up to £190).

Will Writing

This may not be top of the list of benefits we look for but it’s nice to know it’s available when needed. We offer a free will writing service to all colleagues.
