Childbase Partnership is giving colleagues a tax-free bonus of up to £3,000 and raising salaries again by an average 8% in a financial support plan for colleagues in 44-day nurseries in England costing £8.5 million.
The plan means that full timers contributing to the company’s success during the last financial year will get six, monthly, tax-free payments of up to £500 each starting on December 1st and ending on May 1st, 2023, with pro-rata payments for others.
The support has been extended to new nursery recruits on contracted hours who will also get additional cash – up to a maximum £100 a month based on hours worked – until May 1st, 2023, to help them meet soaring cost of living bills.
